The Bexar Medical Examiner’s Office said the man who was found on a North Side bike trail Wednesday died of natural causes.

Two women were walking on the Salado Creek Greenway around noon, when they came across 55-year-old Mark Jason Bundy on the ground, tangled in a bicycle, officials said. EMS pronounced Bundy dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner listed his cause of death as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Diabetes and hypertension were also listed as contributing factors to his death.
